SuperGroup has poached Asda’s customer director Jon Wragg to join the company and head up its e-commerce division.
Retail Week believes that Wragg left Asda for the new position because of a desire to handle multichannel again, having previously held the role of multichannel director at the supermarket before a reshuffle.
In his new role for SuperGroup, which owns the Superdry brand, Wragg will replace current e-commerce director Chris Griffin.
Superdry has recently launched websites in Switzerland, Canada, Spain and Italy, as online sales increased by a quarter in H1 of 2013.
Wragg will take up his role at the end of April.
