Netflix has warned that it intends to raise its monthly subscription rates by as much as two dollar despite posting revenues of $1.27bn over the first three months of the year.
The announcement came in a letter to shareholders which accompanied as the digital streaming service’s latest market update – in which it reported signing up 4m new subscribers, to take its total customer base to 35.7m.
