Social networking giant Facebook has set out its plans for the development of a range of new standalone apps – by instructing its Creative Labs division to throw everything at the wall and see what sticks.
Commenting during the publication of his firm’s Q1 earnings Mark Zuckerberg said the plan was to build specific apps with the intention of growing their user bases to at least 100m, the critical mass necessary to begin to turn a profit.
