Pernod Ricard has worked with Coley Porter Bell to create the packaging for its new Olmeca Tequila range, set to launch later this month.
Tasked with delivering a solution that celebrated the brand’s premium positioning and authentic Mexican heritage, Coley Porter Bell retained the bottle’s square shape and reinstated its orange peel glass texture with a hammered-esque glass to generate a more contemporary feel.
Mexican-style hieroglyphs tell the store of Olmeca Tequila’s production, depicting the agave plants, the mountains of Los Altos and the Tahona Stone, acknowledging the traditional distillery process.
