Belgian actor Jean Claude Van Damme is to weave together reality and fiction for his latest role as a washed up actor and martial artist who is forced out of retirement to become an undercover private contractor.

The action comedy has been chosen by Amazon for a pilot episode which will see the muscles from Brussels star as a caricature of himself; Jean-Claude van Johnson, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
