Amazon Prime has brought the apocalypse to Times Square, New York with an augmented reality digital out of home ad promoting its new show Good Omens.
To draw attention to its new star-studded original show, it is using AR to bring disaster to the streets of New York. The subscription TV service and Netflix rival ran the takeover to rain doom upon commuters. A camera attached to the billboard in question saw doomsday scenarios unfurled around like Kraken tentacles, UFOs and giant fish raining down.
