Amazon, Twitter, Verizon and Facebook to compete for NFL live stream rights

Amazon, YouTube, Verizon and Twitter are in contention to bid for streaming rights for NFL’s Thursday Night Football as reported by Bloomberg.

All three social media giants are reportedly bidding hundreds of millions of dollars for the five-year contract.

Twitter has already paid $10m for NFL’s digital streaming rights in 2016 while Amazon won them in 2017 for $50m. NFL is seeking help from its TV rights partner, 21st Century Fox, to make a decision.
