Amazon is readying its next major move against struggling UK supermarkets with the announcement that it is dramatically expanding its range of grocery products.
Christopher North, Amazon’s UK boss, announced that the company will rapidly expand its Pantry service in the new year following a successful launch for the home delivery service.
Pantry launched in the UK in November and allows customers to buy from a range of 4,000 grocery and household products, from big brands such as Kellogg’s, Ariel , Colgate and Kronenbourg.
