A standalone BBC Music app available on Android and iOS enabled smartphones and tablets is set to give audiophiles fresh reason to cheer by pulling together music clips from the broadcasters TV and radio stations into one easily searchable location.
Content includes live performances, DJ and presenter curated playlists and interviews with musicians. Users will also be able to search for and play all tracks broadcast on BBC Radio over the past week and add favourites to their own playlist although these will be limited to 30 second clips owing to licensing restrictions.
