Just hours after revealing her new look and name, Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce Jenner, has become the person to reach 1 million Twitter followers in the shortest amount of time, beating out President Obama and stepdaughter, Kim Kardashian.

Caitlyn launched her Twitter account earlier today after a sneak peak of her Vanity Fair cover went viral.

“I’m so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self,” she wrote in her Twitter bio. “Welcome to the world Caitlyn.”
