The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) have become the latest industry body to comment on the conviction of Max Clifford on 8 counts of indecent assault, describing it as a ‘sad and shocking case with repercussions for many’
In a statement the CIPR said: “Whilst public relations has not been on trial here, we believe that as a champion of our members’ professional interests and a body that works in the public interest, we should put on record that we believe that the actions of Mr Clifford should not be considered as damaging to, or associated with, our profession.
