Hacker group Mr Smith claims to have hacked the Game of Thrones season finale in an email sent to Mashable.
Mashable has chosen not to post the explicit details. All they mentioned was that Mr Smith in its email said: “Game of throne is over. Wait for major waves!!! RIP HB-Old.”
Earlier, in a note to employees HBO chairman Richard Plepler wrote: “As most of you have probably heard by now, there has been a cyber incident directed at the company which has resulted in some stolen proprietary information, including some of our programming.”
