The Singapore government and Google have announced a new jobs and skills training initiative for 3,000 local entry-level and mid-career job seekers.
The initiative, called Skills Ignition SG – A Grow With Google Program is aimed at boosting job seekers’ employment, employability outcomes and providing vital industry experience amid a challenging labour market during Covid-19.
It will be led by the Economic Development Board (EDB), Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), in support of the SGUnited Jobs and Skills Package.
