The long-awaited confirmation of José Mourinho’s appointment as Manchester United manager finally came this morning however it was Jaguar, one of Mourinho’s sponsors, who were the first to congratulate him on his new job after tweeting the news last night before hastily deleting the post.
Manchester United only made the announcement that the Mourinho had agreed a three-year deal with the club this morning. Last night however, the Jaguar UK Twitter account tweeted: “Congratulations to Jose Mourinho on his @ManUtd appointment. He’ll always be #TheFrozenOne to us.”
