London is the world’s most Instagrammed capital city, garnering a total of 31.38m mentions on Instagram, according to research from Love Home Swap.
Six of the top 10 Instagrammed cities are based in Europe, with Asia taking a further three.
The three most popular London hashtags were #londoneye (928,678), #london2012 (495,338) and #londonlife (273,602).
