Liverpool have strengthened their flourishing sponsorship portfolio after agreeing a deal with Chinese automotive firm MG Auto in an unusual partnership that will give birth to a Liverpool-themed vehicle.
The 18 month partnership will make MG Auto the official Chinese automotive partner for the remainder of this season and the entirety of next.
To celebrate the partnership MG Auto are reportedly planning to launch a Liverpool FC-themed vehicle. No further details are yet known but the Liverpool branded product follows a similar pledge from the club’s Chinese TV partner PPTV who made 5,000 Liverpool themed TVs.
