Earlier this month, lawmakers in North Carolina passed a statewide bill that requires transgender people to use bathrooms that match the sex on their birth certificate, a move that has drawn national criticism for its discriminatory nature.
To protest the controversial bill, called HB2, North Carolina-based McKinney has printed the entire bill on toilet paper rolls and is encouraging local businesses to install them in restrooms or use them as cocktail napkins, shopping bag tissue paper or decorations.
