MEC has appointed former Starcom MediaVest Group global business director Duncan Smith as a managing partner.

Smith will oversee communications planning for Lloyds Banking Group in the role and report to Stuart Bowden, MEC’s joint CEO.

Bowden said: “Duncan brings with him a wealth of experience in communications, working with award-winning brands and delivering strategic solutions to help them thrive. I am delighted that he will be joining the team and am confident that the work he will be overseeing at MEC will be key for the growth of our clients’ business.
