Managing director of Newsquest Scotland, Tim Blott, is stepping down after announcing his retirement.
Blott, who joined the company in 1975 as a trainee reporter, will leave Newsquest Scotland at the end of the year, ending a 40 year career in the newspaper industry.
He will be replaced by Graham Morrison, the managing director of Newsquest Clyde & Forth, which publishes the Greenock Telegraph, Clydebank Post and Alloa Advertiser.
