A petition calling for the Press Complaints Commission to take action against The Sun over a recent fanciful ‘Mark of the Devil‘ story has been signed by over 5,000 people concerned for the welfare of the 4-year old boy at the heart of the non-story.

Boasting of an ‘exclusive’ Tuesday’s edition of the tabloid screamed ‘Boy, 4 has mark of Devil’ from its front page, before an image of the child in question with a red mark applied to his chest.
