Reebok has canned its sponsorship of Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones after his arrest for hit-and-run.
Jones, who allegedly fled the scene of an accident in Albuquerque on Sunday, previously said he was “incredibly proud to be a part” of Reebok’s UFC push, but has now been suspended by the body and dropped by the sports brand.
A spokesperson for Reebok told TMZ Sports: “In light of recent events, we have made the decision to terminate our contract with Jon Jones, effective immediately.”
