Robin Thicke a clear winner after ‘Blurred Lines’ named most downloaded track

Robin Thicke has claimed the most downloaded track in UK music title courtesy of last year’s ‘Blurred Lines’ track after he racked up a record 1.54m sales despite (or perhaps because of) a blaze of controversy surrounding the supposedly sexist track.

The title was researched by the Official Charts Company and announced by BBC Radio 1 which elevated the 2013 single into the top slot.
