Confectionary brand Skittles has become the latest entrant to America’s annual on-air gladiatorial battle of the brands, sandwiched within some football, with its first ever commercial at the show-piece event.
Devised by DDB Chicago the piece depicted life in a small American town where residents have developed an elaborate series of arm wrestling competitions in order to settle their Skittles disputes.
A total of 59 custom arms were employed for the piece with make-up artists adding their own muscles, veins, freckles and hair for competitive cast members – even Banjo the dog gets in on the act.
