Snapchat appears to be chasing users of Facebook Messenger as screenshots of a slew of new features leaked during the weekend.

The photo-messaging app is looking to revamp its chat offering with the aptly named ‘ChatV2′ update, if seemingly legitimate leaked screenshots are to be believed.

Among the new features is an update to the Snapchat video chat, bringing it closer to the likes of Facebook Messenger or Google Hangouts’ offering, likely no longer requiring both users to hold down on their screens simultaneously to link up.
