Sony project gives unique view of one of the world's largest model railroads with digital campaign

Sony has created a Street View-esque interactive campaign allowing online users to explore one of the the world’s largest model railroads, Northlandz.

Built by one man, Bruce Zaccagnino, Northlandz has a huge 50,000 feet of railtrack and the model world is intricately detailed. As part of Sony’s ‘Be Moved’ campaign, the brand teamed up with Wieden and Kennedy and Bossa to create the project.

Thousands of images from various angles were captured using Sony’s QX100 lens-style camera and the team then fused together HTML5, CSS3 and Web GL animations to produce a website enabling users to explore the three main landscapes Read full story ›
