STV’s profits has fallen by more than 40 per cent after its production arm missed targets last year however the Scottish broadcaster insists a strong start to 2016 has put it back on track.
The STV Group company, which holds the ITV licence for Scotland, saw its pre-tax profits plummet by 42 per cent year-on-year to £9.8m and its total revenue decline by three per cent to £116.5m.
