Tesco is reportedly planning to sell off movie and streaming service Blinkbox, which it acquired three years ago.
According to the Guardian, the retailer’s new chief executive Dave Lewis has initiated plans for a strategic review of the business in which he intends to seek a buyer.
Lewis, who joined from Unilever earlier this year, has had a tumultuous few weeks at the retailer, after it emerged that it had overstated its profits by £250m, resulting in the suspension of four senior executives.
Lewis was previously president of Unilever president of personal care.
