The Sun has u-turned on its decision to publish audience-captured footage of comedian Ted Robbins’ heart attack during a live performance after it was dubbed “vile” by Robbins’ sister Kate.

The online edition of the Sun urged viewers to subscribe to its paywall to “watch the dramatic moment Ted Robbins collapsed on stage” during a Comic Relief performance at the Manchester Arena on Sunday.

Robbins, who played Den Perry on Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights, was filmed by audience members collapsing during his set, with the newspaper deciding to publish the clip. The Read full story ›
