Combative Republican presidential candidate Donald trump has burnished his hard-line image after instructing a bodyguard to forcibly remove an Hispanic news anchor who interrupted a news conference attempting to grill the political hopeful on his immigration stance.

Jorge Ramos, a popular presenter on Spanish language channel Univision, was unceremoniously ejected from a press briefing after speaking out of turn.

A flustered Trump said: “Excuse me, sit down. You weren’t called! Sit down. Sit down. Sit down! No you don’t. Go back to Univision,” before gesturing to a back stage security guard to remove the reporter.
