President Donald Trump reportedly plans to meet with “top technology executives” in early June to discuss how to modernize the federal government.
That’s according to Recode, which cited confirmation from a White House official.
The forthcoming meeting is tied to the American Technology Council, which was established in an executive order signed May 1.
According to Recode, the White House did not specify which technology executives it was targeting. However, Axios reports about 20 tech CEOs will come for half-day working sessions and “a few tech titans have indicated a willingness to participate”.
