American media and telecoms giant Verizon will announce its plans to buy Yahoo! Inc. for about $4.8 billion tomorrow (Monday) , said Bloomberg, quoting a person with direct knowledge of the situation.

“The takeover is expected to be announced before the market opens, “the person said according to Bloomberg. The person asked not to be identified because the information isn’t public.

The deal includes Yahoo real estate assets. Intellectual property assets are expected to be sold separately, the person said.
