Verizon has made another bold acquisition, this time of the experienced Ronan Dunne who previously led O2 in the UK.
He takes up the role of executive vice president and group president of Verizon Wireless weeks after the company purchased Yahoo’s core business for $5bn.
Dunne will take up the role in December, reporting to John Stratton, executive vice president and president of company operations.
Marketing, network, customer service and digital will all fall under Dunne’s remit.
