By Ishbel Macleod Powwownow has launched a new social media campaign using the hashtag #Powwowhelpmenow, with the aim to remedy common complaints in the workplace. The campaign by the conference call provider encourages workers to tweet about a problem or something that frustrates them at work – from running out of milk to commuting nightmares – with Powwownow then looking to provide creative solutions to the issues. Re-named Share Croatia, the new site, which goes live on 1 June, will gather new tourist videos posted under the campaign hashtags of #LoveCroatia and #ShareCroatia on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Vine in real time, meaning travellers to Croatia could be “the faces” of the tourist board’s next video campaign. By Ishbel Macleod Major cinema chains Odeon, Cineworld and Vue have announced a blanket ban on ads both for and against the independence referendum in Scotland, following complaints from film fans.
