Writing on her official website Cotton said it was time for a “new chapter” and revealed that she was pregnant with her second child. “I have had the most incredible decade broadcasting on Radio 1, meeting wonderful people, helping break artists and watching live music from the world’s best,” she said. “I will leave with the best memories and many great friends.” Cotton currently presents Radio 1’s mid-morning show, which includes the Live Lounge.
