Psychometric app to tickle the imagination of artists and writers

By John Glenday Psychologists working on a battery of psychometric tests to determine a person’s Imagination Quotient, their ability to think outside the box, are to put their ideas into a new smartphone app which, they say, could give struggling artists and musicians a crucial jolt of inspiration. ISBA: ‘Advertising on the BBC could hurt the industry in the long-term’

By Jennifer Faull ISBA’s director of media and advertising, Bob Wotton, has responded to the debate surrounding the future of the BBC, saying the introduction of advertising could hurt the industry in the long term. Wotton’s comments came following a recent poll conducted by ad-tech firm TubeMogul, which suggested as many as 60 per cent of Brits could be open to an ad-funded BBC. eBay drops same-day deliveries as pilot programme fails to take-off

By John Glenday Online auction house eBay is to discontinue its trial same-day delivery service eBay Now by the end of the week after coming to the realisation that immediacy is not a key concern for much of its customer base and a major headache for many of its sellers.
