Guide Dogs charity appoints Zone for content strategy

The initial work will centre around the guide dog puppy in training Clover who was featured on ITV’s This Morning. ‘Malicious’ Facebook staff warned not to strike out ‘black lives matter’ slogans from HQ walls

By John Glenday Mark Zuckerberg has instructed his staff to cease striking out ‘Black Lives Matter’ slogans from the walls of Facebook’s Menlo Park HQ after staff took to defacing the slogan by overwriting ‘all lives matter’. According to an internal memo picked up by Gizmodo described the actions of the unidentified employees as ‘malicious’ after an earlier verbal warning to all staff at a company meeting was ignored. Google muscles in on Roku’s turf with hardwired Chromecast play

By John Glenday Google is all set to take its Chromecast streaming stick to the next level after striking a deal with television manufacturer Vizio to build the dongles functionality directly into the fabric of individual sets. The move places Google in a head to head tussle with rival streamers such as Roku which has already signed manufacturing partnerships with the likes of Haier and TCL to produce licensed smart TV’s in return for a licensing fee. Original anime series set to debut with global Netflix release

By Doug Zanger Netflix announced a new original anime series, Perfect Bones, that will debut on the service. Though not the first anime on Netflix, what’s most notable is that the entire 12-episode series will debut simultaneously in 190 countries around the globe as opposed to just one or several markets. There is, as of now, no official release date. Snapchat gets the Nielsen treatment

But working together has been somewhat difficult mainly because the format is so different and Snapchat hasn’t been able to provide numbers that translate to what advertisers and agencies are used to transacting on.
