Yahoo’s new UK managing director Stuart Flint is jumping ship to Microsoft- just days after being appointed to the top Yahoo role.

Flint was appointed to the role of Yahoo managing director just 10 days ago, following a restructure which led to the departure of the previous managing director James Wildman.

Now, in a significant blow to Yahoo he has decided to join Microsoft’s UK operation, joining as UK sales director.

Flint will replace Simon Davies, who is relocating to Santa Monica in the US to take on the role of general manager, West Cost, Microsoft advertising online.
