Apple has hired four BBC Radio 1 producers to bolster its upcoming music streaming service.
Following the Californian giant hiring the radio channel’s Zane Lowe in February, the quartet will join the company after Radio 1’s “Big Weekend” event in May.
James Bursey, Natasha Lynch and Kieran Yeates are three of the four names rumoured to be making the exodus from the BBC to Apple, according to Business Insider.
On the departure, Radio 1 only said: “Radio 1 is respected worldwide for making great programmes and is vital to the record industry for choosing the best new music and artists.
