Glossy magazine Glamour has apologised for a widely lambasted dating blog which offered tips such as ‘answer the door in a negligée’ and ‘stock the fridge with his favourite drinks’.

Entitled ’13 little things that can make a man fall hard for you’, the blog advised women to learn statistics about their boyfriend’s favourite sports team, give him a massage with an optional ‘happy ending’ and ‘make him a snack after sex’.

The post came in for widespread criticism for being sexist and patronising, with one Twitter user describing it as “an insult to men and women”.
