Mercedes-Benz’s redesigned E-class model has proven a hit with motorists, with the autonomous sedan rolling off dealership forecourts in ever increasing numbers.

According to Automotive News, E-class sales rose by double digit amounts in both August and September with Mercedes bosses confidently predicting that this trend will continue for the remainder of the year.

These sales have been prompted by a raft of hi-tech additions; including large dashboard screens and auxiliary autonomous driving features.
