O2 is branching out with a subscription connected home service that will enable subscribers to operate their domestic heating and lighting direct from their smartphones.
The mobile operator is the first in the UK to embrace the connected home and will introduce its own connected plugs to enabling consumers to control nearly 20 supported devices including a Samsung camera and motion sensors, key fob and alarms.
