UK shoe retailer Office has instructed users of its website to change their passwords after it suffered from a security breach that comprised customer data.
While no financial details were stolen in the hack, Office has contacted those affected by email – all with accounts created prior to August 2013 – and reset customer’s current passwords.
Office said that it first became aware of a potential breach on 22 May and following “extensive investigations” confirmed this on 26 May.
