Indian ride-hailing app Ola has mounted its first foray into the UK market after securing licenses to operate in South Wales and Greater Manchester in one month, granting it a toehold in the British market for the first time.
Differentiating itself from rival apps such as Uber, Ola will enable passengers to request a private hire vehicle or black cab via a single platform, with the promise of further transportation options to come once the service beds down.
