Relevant recipes now lead Google food searches on mobile

Prospective chefs will be met with new inspiration when searching select food types on Google using their mobiles.

A new Google search integration looks to increase the dynamism and helpfulness by featuring recipe ideas in a slideshow node atop the results, helping provide culinary ideas without users ever having to advance into a new URL.

The changes, spotted and blogged about by Alex Chitu, highlighted a search for avocado mayo. His screenshots show the algortithm can curate contextual recipes in a carousel.

The feature is limited to Google.com users on mobile.
