The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence installs 'gun-sharing station' to highlight the problem of easy gun access

Gun safety organisation the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence has partnered with The Escape Pod to create an art installation featuring a ‘gun-sharing station’ in Chicago to spark an important conversation about gun violence and gun laws.

The installation, titled ‘Chicago Gun Share Program’, appears like a bike-sharing station but with 10 replicas of AR-15 rifles highlighting how easy it is to access guns.

As part of the campaign, the Brady Center has also proposed three policy changes which includes extending background checks for all gun sales, banning assault weapons and high capacity magazines and passing extreme-risk protection order Read full story ›
