Nielsen Social has released its list of the most social series, sporting events, and special events of 2015 and the results are much of the same: Americans love to tweet about football and The Walking Dead.
If audiences aren’t watching (and tweeting about) The Walking Dead during the show’s first airing, they’re definitely catching up within seven days. The Walking Dead was also the top time-shifted program of 2015 ranked by absolute difference in viewers: viewership increased by 10.9 million from the live audience with time-shifted viewing.
