Time Out Group has appointed AOL UK boss Noel Penzer to the role of managing director for Europe.

Penzer, who is currently managing director of AOL in the UK, will be responsible for driving the multimedia brand’s commercial strategy and continuing its expansion across Europe.

He will take up his new role on 15 April, reporting to Time Out Group chief executive Tim Arthur.

Penzer joined AOL in 2010 as business development director before being promoted to manage the AOL media business in the UK and EMEA in 2012.
