Twitter’s chief executive Dick Costolo has responded to speculation over his job security, saying he isn’t afraid of losing his position.

The micro-blogging site reported surprisingly low quarterly earnings earlier this week, which set tongues wagging as to whether his role would remain secure.

“I don’t worry about that at all,” he told re/Code. “The board and I are completely in sync. Believe me, I don’t worry about that at all.”
