A majority of Ukip voters were found to be against the BBC’s dismissal of former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson after he assaulted a producer earlier this month.
A YouGov poll of 1698 adults, saw 59 per cent of respondents agree that the BBC made the right call on Clarkson however.
Twenty nine per cent disagreed and 12 per cent didn’t know in spite of the host being found to have physically and verbally assaulted Top gear producer Oisin Tymon.
