Bown, who has been employed by JD Sports since 1984, took the decision to step down following 30 years at the company, but will continue to work as a consultant. Appointed without a pitch, Radley Yeldar will also create all collateral for the event including: the event brochure, signage and t-shirts – plus the look and feel of the staging. The new TEDx Houses of Parliament look and feel will be revealed at the event on Friday 27 June at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster. To promote the launch, the footballers called up their Class of ’92 teammates – Nicky Butt, Paul Scholes and Phil Neville – for an 11-story high game of footy, which sees the players shown around the under-construction hotel, ending up at the rooftop 5-a-side pitch, where the Hotel Football building team are waiting to try and teach them a lesson.
